Tech Pride knife scales have 3 layers. A solid black inner layer sandwiched between solid red outer layers. The layers are divided by a black ribbon that matches the solid black coloring. You'll see both red and black on each side of this scale. Sanding this blank will increase the amount of black that is visible.
